I am primarily a landscape painter, working mostly with acrylic paint on
canvas. I love to paint outdoors as often as possible, always trying to
capture my immediate response to my favourite coastal areas. From my summer
trips to the colourful shores of the Maritimes, to the ever-changing sky and
mercurial waters of Lake Ontario at the end of my street in Toronto, I am most
inspired by the beauty and transience of the natural world. During the winter,
I spend many hours in my sunny studio in the Beach, surrounded by treetops.
I have studied art with some wonderful teachers, including Martha Johnson
(Avenue Road Art School) and Chinkok Tan (Ontario College of Art and Design).
